The Internet Community Myth!

Where are all of the "REAL"online communities?

The Internet Community Mythe

Every business in the world is either directly or indirectly connected to a communuty. Every community in America has it's own economic support network of local business and consumers. Communities have been in place since the beginning of time and continue to be the main source of structured living, shopping, entertaining, educating and career building. Every individual has come to depend upon the resources in their comunities for the necessities of life.

So my question to all of the Internet "gurus" is... "why have the communities been left out of all Internet marketing equations?

When the Internet first came to be many experts predicted the demise of community business. Ten years later the community businesses are still very much alive. But over that same period of years there has been many attempts by just about every economic industry in the world to move their business to the Internet. Many without giving the old die hard standard of community much consideration.

Brick and mortar business gave the Internet a shot early on but just couldn't grasp the concept of online commerce. Plus the lack of consumer confidence and spending didn't help either. They were just to steeped in the tradional standards of the expensive, and mostly unaffordable media (TV, Radio & Print) marketing.

Truthfully, the biggest problem they all had, and in a sense still have today is, nobody, including the "gurus" of Internet marketing are even sure what the role of community business is when it comes to Internet.

To this day there are still only approximately 15% to 20% of the local community business online. Still to this day, you can ask almost any locall community business in the country what there take is on their position for Internet presence, and they will tell you that they know they need to be there but they just haven't seen anything that will work for them. And they are right.

Almost every concept for e-commerce is designed to pull from a national audiance and not from a local market place.

It leaves the question screaming in my head, why, after thousands of years of very successful progress in providing the most secure economic infrastructure for the businesss and consumer relationship, has the community been so left out of the equation? When building solid online marketing structures, the most natural and affordable customer base is already so well positioned, it should make it the strongest online market place in world.

Today, even though the word community is begining to show up quite regularly, it is most often conected to a few stores or other business all pooled together in one website. In all reallity, community has just become another name for malls, business centers, and other such congregations of business. The only thing that has changed is now instead of calling them malls they are referred to as a community.

The online community, in all reallity is a myth. There really is no such thing... until now that is. Global net Cities, Inc, of Rigby Idaho, has created the first official community website concept. They have actually developed an entire portal of communities that will soon span the entire US.

There are actually a number of other companies that have developed web community information networks or portals, but none have tackled the complete community infrastructure to include all of the services in a real community in addition to information and commerce.

It's a huge undertaking and requires a unique and innovative marketing strategy, and that is exactly what GNC's founder Bill Misrasi has developed. He calls his infrastructure "City Clickers.com and it is trull one of the most unique community marketing structures found anywhere on the Net.

The City Clickers.com infrastructure is packed with a unique aray of the necessary online marketing and promotional tools that will support any type of business, large or small, in any community. Also packaged into this amazing concept is a most unique and industry targeted, income opportunity, in a licensed  community marketing strategy. Licensed entrepreneurs are fully trained and continually supported online and off, in the capacity to educate and support this extensive community business infrastructure.

Many of the local community businesses have been beat up pretty good over the past few years, by many unstable and low budget companies with little staying power, promising the right programs that would take their business to the local consumers. Many of the programs were on track but the old killers of great concepts and strategies... you know them as "timing", market readyness, consumer interest, product awarness, financial backing, and so forth, took them out just about as fast as they came in.

City Clickers.com promises a far greater staying power in that it is a debt free company with a very unique independent contracter owned operating structure. That means no huge overhead burdened risk; no over paid executives threatening it's financial soundness; no huge payrol nor tax debt; no inventory control problems; and no multi-tierd management challenges.

So, the next question, "Is the Internet ready for the community?
